Our Passion~ is to share the deliciousness of freshness, homemade from scratch using super-premium ingredients from around the world. The Reality~ Baking from scratch using traditional methods is a lost art in many parts of the world. It takes much more time, energy, labor... Some of our basics such as quiches & tarts take us overnight to prepare without using additives. Other desserts may seem simple but can take a few days to prepare from start to finish. The super-premium ingredients we use are also becoming more difficult to come by. But the pride & joy of offering you the best we can, is priceless!
You Can Help just by placing preorder! We are happy even with the smallest preorder because it's freshness made just for you! Our daily selections on display is determined by your preorder. 2020 As everyone, we suffered from covid restrictions, milk & egg shortages... In addition, we encountered an electrical fire that led to unfortunate closures beyond our control. These next months of closure lead to additional equipment meltdowns. Meanwhile, with new foreign visa policies & border closure, Patrick was left with a one-way ticket back home to his family. Finally, we made the difficult decision to say goodbye.
After a year of family time, self-discovery & trying out other career paths; we ask ourselves, "What is our passion? What makes us happy?" A big part what we discovered is "We missed you!" The Love, the Friendship, the Encouragements from all of you!
Memories of the last days with you; some on wheelchairs & crutches waiting in long lines under hot sun & breezing winds, and some who drove for hours just to come say goodbye, still warms our hearts & put tears in our eyes. Throughout the year, many of you continued to send us warm wishes, photos and messages about not having the same celebrations & holidays without us,...
Sincerely, given the state of the economy and with our age & health conditions, ... to put everything we have into starting a new business is unthinkable! Many of you offered new ideas and information, even offer to help with dishes & cleaning... How can we not to follow our heart?
